    Oh, this could be interesting.

    Might be a can of worms - like asking Mac v. PC, or Beta(max) v. VHS video.

    Bring it on all you one-eyed brand faithful.

    I’ve used all three of those listed and would say Canon gives the best pictures but I’d be interested to see what others think ;)

    All though you can get 10 megapixel cameras these days you will find them so sensitive that you will hav a tendancy to use them at 3.3 megapixels just to get a lot more shots on a memory device. There are some nice Olympus point and shoots that are very, very tough and are waterproof. This will ensure that you can’t destroy the camera without really trying, using for happy snaps I would keep it on highspeed & lower resolution as this will save you money. Unless you are looking for very fine details that you can zoom in on, don’t waste your time spending $1000s.
